In contributing to Forest Heritage Scotland you
agree to grant Forestry Commission Scotland a royalty-free,
non-exclusive licence to publish and otherwise use the material in any
way that we want, and in any media worldwide. This may include the use
of the material by our partners (Royal Commission on the Ancient and
Historical Monuments of Scotland and VisitScotland/Scottish Tourist
Board); these are public agencies who are prohibited from altering the
visual material in any way.
It's important to note, however, that you still own the copyright to
everything you contribute to Forest Heritage Scotland and that if your
image and/or video and/or story is accepted, we will endeavour to
publish your name alongside it whenever it is used. Please note that due
to operational reasons this accreditation will probably not be possible
with video. Forestry Commission Scotland cannot guarantee that all
stories, pictures and/or video will be used and we reserve the right to
edit your comments.
In gathering/creating your material, at no time should you endanger
yourself or others, take any unnecessary risks or infringe any laws.
